Breathing is something that we all do every day and typically don't give it a second thought. Shifting our focus to the breath and breathing in a more intentional way can actually have significant effects, physically and mentally. Breathwork sessions are intended to teach you a method of breathwork that you can take and put into practice on your own. Breathwork is such a powerful and simple tool to have in your wellness toolbox.
Methodology
The specific method of breathwork taught is a combination of Holotropic and Wim Hof breathwork. Holotropic breathwork, in its original form, is done in three-hour sessions. This isn't accessible to a lot of people. Wim Hof's methods are simple and have been scientifically studied more than probably any other method. The method I teach utilizes the simplicity of the Wim Hof method along with Holotropic techniques condensed into a one-hour session. This allows for the experience of the benefits of breathwork in a way that is accessible to most, and you are free to take what you learn and scale it up or down to fit your own needs and desires.
